    I need help!

My farm bought 79 XS11 special was running great until I swapped in a fresh battery, then a few miles down the road she just quit. The bike fires just fine with the starter on, but dies immediately as soon as it's let off. Any help is greatly appreciated- this bike is my main transportation whenever there's less than two inches of snow down.

Thanks a ton guys! As soon as I get home I'm checking it out. does anybody manufacture new br's for these bikes, or do I have no choice but to cross my fingers and find a junkyard bike to pull from?
