  • Need some help with identification

Hey guys I think I'm missing a spacer from my back wheel at reassembly but to be completely honest I can't quite remember ....

I could have swore there was an additional spacer on the outside of the needle bearing on the shaft side of the wheel. Not the collar that's down inside the original bearing but a spacer after that. I think in this diagram of the rear wheel it's part number 13

you see I have these two "helpers". My beagles like to "hold" items for me so that I don't get confused and misplace them.

If that space IS supposed to be there in addition to the bearing collar, can someone help me verify the dimensions so I can track down another?????

    Gracias

If you haven't removed the grease seal, the spacer is probably still there. take a look.

Had the wheel completely disassembled .... new bearings, new seals. That's why I know it's missing, I went to pick it up off the table and .... "HEY ... WHAT THE ... DAMN DOGS!!!!!!!" As you can see they're completely innocent.

That's easy, just follow him around with a bag for a few days.

Awesome ..... Thanks for the link.

The spacer hasn't shown up but I've got a large supply of walmart bags and I did find that missing bicycle

                I win

Not to drum up an old post but I found my dogs "keepsake" pile ...

They were storing things behind the furnace. Found my missing spacer
