    adjusting front shocks

I was reading the article on the 78 xs11e. It says there are three front shock adjustments "all you need is a screw driver" Anyone know what they are talking about and how its done? This is probably a stupid question but i just finnished repairing my last "how hard could it be" adjustment so I figured this time i better as before I dive in.

78 xs11 aftermarket 4-2 HD mufflers, whats left of it is stock. A work in progress for sure.

Pop the rubber caps off the fork caps, and under there is a flat head screw adjustment for the spring preload. The settings are "ramped", clockwise is firmer, counterclockwise is softer. Push down hard with a large screwdriver and turn. Only the 78-9 Standard's have this.
