  • fuse panel

I'me done cleaning the rust and coon sh..t off it. The frame, tank, MC's, calipers and side covers etc are out for paint and I've started on the engine. When this is done I will start on the wire harness. Anybody have the supplier and part number for the fuse panel with the spade style fuses for a 79 special

    Here's my progress to date:

If you are talking about the fuse box itself, contact TC (Topcat). He provides an excellent replacement fuse box that takes blade fuses. I have them on both of my XSes.

Did you break into an abandon house to work on that bike??? How on earth did you get that much room? Your single right?

Everything looks pretty nice! Good job.

Oh, that new fuse box from T.C. is the only way to go.

Offically jealous of your work space. If I had that much room, I would always have a motorcycle hanging on my wall too!

              Work shop

Your looking at one corner of it. I do woodworking as a side bit, so with all the saws and tables this was the only corner I could spare. Have an apartment on the other side that my Dad lived in until he died. Now I use it for poker games and having a few of the neighborhood rats over for watching hockey and NFL games.Storage is upstairs. The place has turned into the "dog house" since I used some of the bath towels to clean up the bike.My wife says I smelled like coon poop soaked in carb cleaner and wouldn't let me back in the house till I've showered and changed in the shop. Can't please them you know. I worked for 3 months on that stuff hanging on the wall to get the rust off. Ultra fine steel wool and about a case of autosol. Still needs to be shone once more and waxed before I put it back on the bike.
