    XS/XJ famous movies

Dunno, I think I saw the topic somewhere but I couldn't find it. I was just watching the James Bond - Never say never again... in the 41st minute the front of the frame and the engine block reminds me a lot of the XS/XJ 11. Its the scene where the guy in a garage shows bond the bike frame.
The valve cover is a bit off and the exhaust mounting studs. Might it be the XJ 650? Or a FJ?
There is a weird enduro/cross rear tire, all small and with a chain sprocket on. Looks too weak for any 4cyl bike, so I guess it aint relevant.
Later a bike appears... sounds like a triple, single front disc brake, rear drum.

If it doesn't have an engine, it's not a sport, it's only a game.

I think the Purple Rainmobile was a Yamaha 750 Spcl.

The bike that appeared later was a single cyl. MuZ Saxon 500 tour with added back fairing and sound, kawasaki mirrors and a lot of glue.

I actually saw that thread and happened to catch T1 a few weeks ago. There wasn't any insignia on the bike but it was a 4 cylinder.
          great movie though.

Theres a newer movie called Biker Boyz with Lawrence Fishburn that has what appears to be an XS1100 Special in it. It is the bike ridden by the character Soul Train.

Hey Strom! I got both a 750 and a 850 parts bikes and they are both duel disc. Trident maybe? What is the bike Laura Croft rides in Tomb Raider #1?

i heard the Princes Purple Rain was an XS400. He is too flaky to hold up an 1100.

I've seen about 4 or 5 xs11's on junkyard wars.

I think Prince's bike in Purple Rain was a Honda CM400 Custom with a Windjammer (remember, he's only about 5'2" or so). The wheels look pretty dead-on like those on the CM400s.
