  • Restoration decals

I posted this request on the members lounge but didn't get any responce; I felt maybe I should have placed it in this part of the forum. Anyway, I've been looking high and low for replacement switch decals. Last winter I bought some off ebay to restore the switches on my xs850 but appearently the seller is either no longer on ebay or they've changed their name. Anyway I want to strip down the handle bar switches and redo them. If any of you wonderful fellow xs11 lovers know where I can get these decals please, please let me know! Thanks! Rick

Thanks Randy, I looked at that web site last night and they didn't have a set of switch decals for our bike. There were some individual ones that I could make work, but not a whole set. I'm not sure if it was that site or not, but one of the ones I pulled up last night had individual decals. They wanted $7 for just the decal that goes around the ignition switch and $8 for the off-run-off decal! Somebody done bumped their head! I paid less then $10 last year for two sheets of decals that had every one of the decals for the switches on the XS850 and had some left over. Anyway I've not been on this sight long enough to know to many folks by their real name, so who is John?

FYI, I have been in contact with the gentalmen I bought the label sets from off ebay. He said the lady that made them for him was no longer at the company but he has the person that took her place working on them. He said he'd let me know a price in a couple days or so. I will pass the info. along to y'all as soon as I know something. These sets contain most all the variations of labels found on the hand controls including the label for the ignition switch for the XS bikes. If the price is anywhere near what it was last time, they were less than $10 shipped per set.

They don't stock them no more

Might borrow a label maker from work and try and make my own, not sure it will be a very good outcome tho...:P

Any other places that may have them?

The set I got from John had two of each labels for all the controls and the ignition switch. I've had them since '06 and STILL haven't used them. Since I've only got one bike, first one to PM me can have one set. Include your mailing address in the PM.
