    Wiring diagram

    although i have had it saved in the past ,now that i need it i can't seem to find the wiring diagram for my 79 xs 1100 sf .if someone could provide a link it would be greatly appreciated .I searced here and came up empty

    look up catatonicbug. Any post from him will have a link in his signature too his site. He has almost ALL of the manuals in PDF, so you can read AND print pages.

          Sorry to be slow ,but what is the lead switch .It is shown just above headlight ,with meter assembly.It appears to be IN speedo.>?

            It works in conjunction with the flasher self-canceling unit. It tells the flashers when to cancel by the speed the bike is traveling. It's usually called the reed switch.
