  • XJ parts wanted

    Guys,
I'm in need of a piece which fell of my XJ. The chrome piece which shields the right hand exhaust down by the brake pedal.
Anyone got one they can live without? It is NLA from Yamaha.

    Thanks,
    Deano

    Deano:

I have one someplace...will try to find it and let you know. My "parts boxes" are in rented storage areas since I moved in May, buried way in the back. It may take me a while. Guard is not bent but will need some cleaning, I'm sure.

FWIW, I used a couple SS clamps to hold my guard in place. Mounting bolts broke off, guard was ratteling, clamps didn't look to bad and kept the guard in place.

If it is the same as the SG, you can have mine. I'm just over by Tigard High School.

        Hey guys,
Thanks for the replies. Crunchbird - it's got a 10M prefix on the part which is XJ specific. Thanks for the offer! Jerry - sounds great - I'll take whatever I can get - catch me offline.

Well, I went parts hunting. Found a couple boxes of xs/xj parts but guards were not in them. There is at least 1 more box way at the back of a 10 by 20 foot storage shed, under a whole lot of stuff. It may take me a long time to work back to it. Have not forgotten!
