carb kits

Hi,

At partsnmore, there are carb kits for the early carbs, that include jets , needle, n gasket, the late model kits include only the float needle and seat and gasket, is there a resource for complete kits for late model carbs??

Try ebay.Georgefix is a great source, and he sells on ebay.There are a couple other sellers on ebay too that sell kits.

I got mine from Z1 Enterprises. It had all the parts.

What main jets came in that kit? 115's,120's or both?

I believe it was 110's, as that is the stock setup for the outer carbs, and most people just use that all the way across. I honestly couldn't guarantee that though. I just know I used that set in all 4 carbs, and have not had jetting issues at all.

Yep. That's the stock setup. Like I said, most folks just use the same jets all the way across now, as the use of different jets on the inner carbs has not shown to be of any assistance.

I did just notice that Z1 sells Dynojet kits for $95.77. Dynojet themselves sells the kit for $125.89. In case anyone was interested in making that upgrade at the same time.

I'm pretty certain that If you let George know what you need he will fill the kit with the jets you need.

George didn't have the 115 or 117.5 main jets.
I split the difference and used 117.5 main jets across the rack I found locally.

I found individual XS11 carb parts at CarbKitCapital when I needed to replace a broken pilot screw and then some carb gaskets for my 77XS750.
