    1. Warm up your motor.
    2. Remove the seat.
    3. Disconnect the vacuum hoses from the petcocks.
    4. Lift up the front of the petrol tank and put a block of wood under it.
    5. Turn the taps to prime.
    6. Remove the caps from the brass carb boot connecters.
    7. Slip your 4 gauge hoses onto the 4 connecters.
    8. Start your motor and idle it.
    9. Dampen the pulses so the needles are flicking only about 5 millimetres.
    10. Ignore the ignition and valve timing marks on your gauges.
    11. Get carbs 1 and 2 reading identical by turning the left hand adjustment screw situated on the front left of your carbs.
    12. Do the same with carbs 3 and 4 with the right hand adjustment screw.
    13. Use the middle adjustment screw to get both pairs of carbs reading identical.
    14. Just be patient and fiddle back and forth and also use your idle adjustment screw at the back of the carbs to keep the idle ticking over as needed.
    15. Do it every few weeks and your bike will run sweet as.
    16. By the way you can sync the carbs with only one vacuum dial - it just takes a bit longer. Cheers.

      Gauges

I use gauges as well for carb syncing and the only thing different I do as shown on PGG list is once the the seat is off I turn the tank around 180 deg. and reattach the fuel lines then put your petcocks to prime.........this in order to have more room to adjust the 3 screws.

My gauges usually draw around 25 units when all carbs are in unison....forgive the spelling.
