    Need Carbs For 79' XS11

I need carburetors for my 79' XS11. Two of them have broken float bowl posts. Couldn't find any on ebay, anyone know where I can find some and what it will cost me? Thanks

You don't need '79 ONLY! You can use any year XS or XJ carb. The jetting should be good from one stock bike to another. Hope this helps in your quest!

      Repairable Situation.

The broken float posts are not fatal. See this thread:

Something to be aware of while you're waiting for a nice set to show up.

Spring is coming and there's riding to be done.

        Carbs

What number carbs do you need.Note they are numbered 1-4 from left to right with the left side with choke being number 1. I may have what you need depending on the carb number.

Ok thanks for the tips. I'm not exactly sure which ones are broken, i'll have to double check that. The bike i picked up had been sitting for 10 years so the carbs need a complete rebuild which i was aware of but kind of pi$$ed when i saw a couple had broken posts.

              Smokin' Joe mamma,
Hey I had the exact same deal happen to me, and I feel your frustration. Luckily it was only on one carb. However I went ahead and bought some from 81xsproject and they have been great for sure the best purchase that I made for my bike you can check them out here on the other hand I do still have my old ones if you figure out what post I might be able too help they are for a 79 too so I could work something out.
