    Steam Cleaner

Anyone ever use those small portable steam cleaners to clean an engine and carbs (particullary when doing a carb rebuild)? Any advice on this?

    Good idea or not?

I bought one about 6 years ago, supposedly the best one at the time, and returned it the next week. I tried it on my truck rims and engine and it sucked! It didn't do any better than soap and water, a good degreased was 10 times better.
