  • Any (remaining) motorcycle salvage yards in Southern California

    Hi All,

I've been doing some searching for motorcycle salvage yards in Southern California but can't seem to find any that are still remaining. All of the ones I call are either out of service or the numbers have changed to another business.

What am I not looking for is more like it I've been trying to find a set of carbs for 1980 XS1100 (or a 78 or 79). I don't mind rebuilding them, I actually prefer to have to rebuild them.

          Hi Wright,
Visiting in Mesa AZ, my local biker buddy claims that the biggest bike breaker in the entire USA is located mebbe ten minutes from his house. He also claims they call him by his first name for all the times he has been there.
Perhaps Mesa AZ is a fair distance from South California but not as far as it is from Saskatoon. (368 miles vs 1790 miles)

This is some good information. I'm actually going to head down to Chula Vista next weekend to have a peak and see what they have going on over there. AZ doesn't sound too bad either, I might have to take a road trip down there too. Thanks all.
