Awesome, always feels great to get a compliment on your ride, even better when its from someone that knows what their talking about. -
Well BDF has Left the building and moved to North Bay. As the name implies it is North of here
After a short test ride last night I picked Addie up from Hamilton and headed off to have her Safety Inspected.
Passed with flying colours. The mechanic took one look and said.
That's a good looking XS1100. I like the custom exhaust it looks well done.
Watch the oil level in that middle drive they seize up if you run them dry.
Does everthing work? When I replied it did, he said lets get that paperwork sorted. less than 15 minutes and I was on my way.
Phil ( still have a big grin on my face)

Hi BNE,
Indeed an awsome effort by Rick & James with lots of help and encouragement from people like you. I hope we get to ride together again this year.

Hi Scott, Only the one day of outside work was sunny and cold which was better than rainy and warm

It's finished and it looks great! Following the work here in the forum has been a lot of fun; more than working in the cold like y'all did -- congratulations!

Well Phil, I guess I can expect you down in Georgia again soon! You have the machine to do it. The new place is less than 30 minutes from TWO.
Nice job, guys!Leave a comment:

Yep, it looks the same as mine. My seat must've been off a later model, the 79 is supposed to have a rear cowling, mine never did. That is a comfortable seat though. That Venturer looks real nice, good job bringing it back guys.
