Gaskets on Demand

I just found out that a local cycle shop here in town has a Gaskets on Demand system at their shop. He claims to be able to reproduce several thousand different gaskets for 39 manufacturers. The system uses a computer and a plotter/cutter similar to the ones used to cut die cut type vinyl stickers. He also claims that if a gasket is not in his system and you have the original.... that he can duplicate it for you. I have yet to go in and check out this contraption.

Has anyone had any dealings with someone using this type of system?

I have the day off and I am planning to pay the shop a visit. They are also an Avon tire dealer. The owner of the shop restores vintage flat track and drag bikes. I want to see what he has available for the old XS.

When you are checking this out, ask if he can reproduce the head gaskets. All the others are easily produced at home, but the head gasket has the metal reinforcing rings on it.
