  • Chopping an XS11

Okay, I know this may be against your guys beleifs.. but i wanna lower the rear and rake the front of my Midnight special. I know, I know. The bike isn't running to hot right now... but i have to get my mind off of it for a couple hours before i pull all of my hair out (I only have half of it left!)

I'd like to know the best way of going about this..whether it be cutting/welding on the frame or getting a set of raked trees (dont know if anyone makes them for this model, but im sure something would interchange) Any answears, as always, are much appreciated.

Check out this thread . You'll find quite a few threads if you plug 'chopper' in to the search tab here on the forum....

      Chops

I noticed for the first time last week that the loud, matt black, hard-tailed chop that I see most days on my ride to work is also an XS11!

Got twin Fish-tail exhausts too like an old Velocette or something.

Great to see someone having a blast and keeping an XS 1100 ( in some form) on the road
