Hi I had to take my bike to hte shop because it was running bad so they took the carbs apart and said that I had wroung pilot jets that they put in a couple of years ago so we had a hard time finding them but found a place in California that has them the 42.5 with no bleed holes on the side the ones they had in there had bleed holes and the machanic said this bike 1979xs11 special came with no holes on the pilot jets so heres the phone number if anybody needs to get the right jets for your bike 415-491-5920

I know better that that! I would fire that mechanic and get the pilot jets with six holes along the sides. Dennis kirk has them. They will have 2 holes in a row, on three sides.
