    Will 1979 Yamaha XS 1100 Saddlebags bolt on to a 81 XS 1100SH Special?
    81 XS1100SH Special
    80 Honda CBX Supersport

    i will say yes and no cause u will be doing so mods example moving the turn signal
    1980 xs1100 sg.

      The mount holes are in different locations. As with anything, it CAN be made to work. The good news is it's NOT that much of a mod to make work.
      As devilschild said, you must locate the turn signals to the very back. Yamaha did this with a mount that bolted too the license plate bracket. You should find connectors behind the plate for the turn signals, so you just unplug from the wire harness and plug them in at the back.
      The other thing is the mount holes in the frame. they will NOT all line up. IIRC, the bottom front mount will be off just about 1". this is the hole for the footpeg mount, and on the Special, it's in a different location than the standard.

          There will be NO direct "bolt on" for your bike. The "mod" for the standard bags is VERY EASY to do. You can move the turn signals to almost any location with some longer wires, and drilling one hole in each mount should be easy!
