Do I have the gasket correctly installed?

The carb on the left shows how I have positioned the gasket.
The carb on the right shows a carb with the float bowl installed.
What in questioning is the right front of the carb has a hole in the carb and a hole in the gasket.
When you install the float bowl its seems like its half covered.

Looks right to me Rick. They'll pretty much only fit one way

If you'll notice the line pressed into the gasket from the float bowl raised ridge. It's sealing
