What size pods from Mikes XS should I get?
I have an 81 xs1100sh and the carbs are off a midnight special.
    Thanks for your help

    Hey Jim,

For what it is worth, I believe the carbs are the same on the inlet opening size throughout the models and years. Seems like 54 mm is what I recall, but I have the airbox mounted on all of mine right now so I can't measure.

          Hey Widow,

Yes, the 54mm size is the correct size. There was some controversy a while back about the early carbs possibly requiring a 52mm, but I've measured the 79SF and my 81SH, and they both have 54mm throats!

My question is... which type of pod filters are you planning on? You can type "Pod Filters" in the search bar and come up with some fine reading.. lol. You may have some problems with a cheaper type.

Hey Tod, must be that fine PRINTING on here that's causing you troubles, looks like he's getting them from MikesXS and they sell the good non-restrictive throat type!
