      Hi motorhead and welcome,
find one the old-fashioned way by purchasing a Clymer's manual.
Or look one up on this site by using the "Search" button in the page header.
Or open any post by Catatonic Bug and open up the link in his signature line.

fredintoon ,I had tried the search before I asked the question.I tried again and still come up with a bunch of stuff not relevant. At this point all I really need is the diagram on ignition and charging system with an id of colors .I hate clymer manuals on pretty much anything .They seem to get me right up to the info I need ,then say "to go beyond this take to a qualified dealer".But I guess for a diagram ,it's something . Athedra ,cool link .I downloaded the manual ,but for some reason I'm not able to print the couple of pages I need and it's too hard for me to try to follow the wires on my monitor.Any chance of getting a real Yamaha manual somewhere.Sorry to ramble

I bought the Clymers manual at a local Independent bike shop, they are still in print and available. Might find a Haynes there as well.

Not sure which Clymers you looked at, but mine definitely covers every bolt I have ever needed to pull on the bike.

In my haynes manual the schematic is in color. Something to think about if you are trying to decide between Clymer and Haynes. Personally I have them both. If I run into something in one I look it up in the other to confirm.

Hey Athedra, we see you and he did also.

He stated he could not PRINT the pages for some reason.

                        Hi motorhead,
there is a diagram for E & F models on one double page of my Clymers. Turn the page and there's a diagram for the F.
So no, the wiring ain't the same but it's most likely the differences are just in some trivial thing or another.
What on your bike don't work?
Is there evidence (taped-up wiring harness &/or joints, Marr connectors, spliced in fuses etc.) to show that the dreaded PO has been at it?

Obviously to many beers, and the screen needed a refresh (For some odd reason.

Open the pdf file. Go file print and at the bottom pages 272 - 273
Type it with the minus. I noticed it takes a while to print since it is graphics and not wording. Took me two days to print the manual in duplex. So hit print, make some coffee (Or have a beer or two or three) then go wash the bike, polish the wheels, and then go check if you have enough beer for the night. Race to the store to stock upi beer, and then have it look. It should be close to done by then.

Tried to make a comparison between the two quickly. Realized that FS does not show a Fuel Guage on the diagram, but do show a fuel sender unit. Might be better to work of the F wiring diagram anyway (If we are using the same diagrams)

2 cents. I bought a PDF version of the Yamaha shop manual. I am sorry I did. I think the Clymers and Haynes for other model bikes I used before are better.
