OK.. just went out to try my method and it's a no-go. With the tire on, then edge on the left side is clear up on the housing part of the swingarm that encompasses the U-joint. The fender guard and everything is in the way, so there's no way for me to get an accurate measurement.. Sorry.

      wud it b 4

The ZRX swingarm to XS11 frame pivot bolts are getting an update to incorporate the factory Kawasaki dust seals is all. The set-up is less adjustable side-side than the original 4-piece design with large thrust bearings is all and want to get as close to the factory centerline relationship as possible...I'm kinda OCD like that. I am trimming another 1/8" off each side to the new design to give it even more play left-right. Again, the factory design of the XS11 swingarm pivot bolts is nice to have modding up the newer swingarms....

Chop, I happen to have a swingarm sitting on the floor of the garage, I think I could put the wheel and all in it and take a measurement for you if you think that would be of use.

            details

The shoulder spacer in the ZRX1100 schematics from Bike Bandit is WRONG and is corrected in the later ZRX1200 schematics, so make sure it goes here on the right side and completes the dust seal.....

I just gave the drawing another update on the left pivot side to trim down the left pivot bolt another 2 mm's for even more adjustment L-R. I have personally measured 4 different ZRX1100 inner pivot sleeves and they are all slip fit and can vary in tightness around the 20 mm Kawasaki pivot bolt. A competent machinist can take the Kawasaki sleeve (part# 42036A) and match it nice and snug to the adapter bolts to be made. This, and the left pivot bolt insert is MOST critical. Make sure that the left pivot bolt insertion hole is machined flat and not just bored through with a bit then cleaned up to 17mm diameter, this would make that area weak and you could wind up on the asphalt.

Yeah, I do not have tools to pull the tire. But I can get a decent straight edge across it to see what the width of it is.

                throw 1 more out there

o.k. why not, 1 more for the mix is good. If Pggg was right about it being center of the inside frame pivots that would put it at 5.75 from the left swingarm egde which is good to go also either way. Thanks DG

                  Everything spelled out

The new set-up uses everything in the schematic and the factory Kawasaki circlipped roller bearing too.
You don't need the long swingarm pivot bolt (#33032) or the pivot bolt locknut (#92210).....stick em on Ebay

Sorry it took a while to respond. with rear wheel mounted in swingarm, from left side of swingarm to the left side of rear wheel measured 85.5 mm, from left side of swing arm to right side of wheel measured 130 mm. Doing the math and conversion puts the center of the tire at about 4.25" from left hand side of swingarm.

                    Hope that is helpful.

                      something's wrong there

Thanks DG. I have confirmed from a couple of builders on the U.K. site that it is 5.625 to 5.75 depending on pivot bolt adjustments between different bikes/owners. I finished the adapter bolts and just need a spare pivot bolt to trim down to the 15mm dim and this swingarm is finished.
