    exhaust

Just read about the exhausts. I want to keep this as close to original appearance as possible. Apparently, Mac & Jardine both both supply a 4-2 style.(never heard of either one) Which of each brand will allow for oil changes w/o removal. And does either one allow you to keep your center stand? Also links would be great.

Jardine no longer makes exhausts for the XS11. You would have to find a used one, oil changes and center stand both good with the Jardines..not familiar enough with Mac to give a good answer.

This Jardine system just sold on ebay REALLY CHEAP. I wanted it but didn't get back to ebay in time or I would sell you this one or the mack on my bike. depending on which I wanted.

Both allow easy oil filter access.

looks like you got to keep the foot pegs as well. Did you have to re- jet your carbs?

No. Actually I am running 79 carbs on my 80 and with that setup it was running a bit rich for some reason anyway.

I've since even put straight through baffles on and that helped MY situation.

I bought another brake pedal becouse I was told I would need the clearance there but didn't. So if you end up with that problem when YOU change let me know if I can help you out.

            Mac muffler

Will the MAC 4 into 2 readily accept a muffler exchange, such as the one pictured?
