Ok so I'm interested in the stainless lines but have no idea what they would look like. Anyone out there have pictures of front and rear with these lines on?

    Hi Mack,
some suppliers give you black/clear/colored options for the outer sheath but the black-sheathed ones don't look noticeably different to the stock fabric lines.
You can choose to run two lines to the m/c instead of the stock three lines and a joiner block. It's cheaper.
You will be so pleased at how well they work you'd install plaid-sheathed lines if that was the only option.

        Mack,

I found this on ebay. The price looks good and you can order them in custom lengths. I'm thinking of ordering a set with the front lowers an additional 4-6 inches over length for when I put some extended fork tubes on.

See this post before you order those. Make sure they get the small error corrected before you buy. Front line from MC to splitter measures right at 50 CM long the rear is roght about 48.5 CM long, at least the stock lines I took off are. Both have abouu a 90 deg offset in the end fittings.

Hey guys...I also picked up the set of lines from Coastguard off eBay. The stock M/C with his lines WILL have the fitment issue. I purchased a new M/C lever from MikesXS and it fits perfect in the front end. The line exits off the M/C on the front instead of the end. havent jacked with the rears yet due to the rear M/C being FUBAR. Hopefully no issues. I havent messed with that yet until i actually get the bike running (carb issues..see other posts...)

Are you trying to determine the final look as they sit on the bike, or what the fittings look like? Brake lines are rather specific as far as fitting and construction goes, so they will basically look exactly like the OEM ones, but are made out of SS braided tubing, covered in a clear (or other color) sheath. They will be a bit more shiny, but should look exactly like the old ones.

Hey Okie, with the exception of here at channel 11, I have people that type my stuff for me, so what is spell check?? We used to have this thing that a dude named Webster put together but that takes much more time than I have available to use.

As to the SS lines, I have contacted the gentleman and he has stated he would make it right. Still waiting to see what that entails, but will keep the forum abreast of what transpires.

I think that has more to do with perspiring... or causing one to do so!
