  • Gear repair

I thought that my 1978 XS1100 needed the 2nd gear repair. I contacted Catatonic Bug (Marshall) to see if he would be interested in doing the work for me as he lives fairly close by. I took the bike to him and he found the 2nd gear to be in far worse shape that just a repair. The countershaft was also worn. He advised me to check with Andreas for the replacement parts.
To make a long story short, thanks to Bugs know how and the nice gearsets and fast shipping from Andreas, my XS trans was fixed in less than a week. I highly recommend both.

Awesome!! Glad your back in the saddle so quickly.

Goodwork Bug! Looked like a tough project. Just finished this on my project bike and the hardest longest part of the repair was getting the shift forks in.
Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

When your work speaks for itself, don't interrupt.
