Corbin seat for 1980 special

Hello ! I purchased a corbin seat for my SG on ebay (ebay item: 310179528750 ). It will take a few weeks till the seat will come to my adress in Norway,but I am curious if some of you have a seat like this and can tell if it feels/looks good on the bike? It looks very comfy I think,and the $149 price was reasonable?

Good buy there.............think you'll like it. Have one on my Venturer1100, and it is way comphy. Can ride a full tank out and be comfortable. Have Corbins new memory foam seat on my Honda ST1100 and it's not near as comfortable. I also have the fully adjustable Heli-Bars on both bikes, and that more than compensates!

Are you still buying seats? With all you've spent, you could have purchased a plane ticket to Jacksonville and had Sargent build you a custom seat while you watched.

Hi Marty ! Hihihi, I still have the seat I bought from you,but my wife does not like to sit on it!! She prefers the stock seat! I prefer the one from you. I hope that the Corbin seat will make us both happy ! I hope the Corbin seat is softer And yes, I have spent some money on my XS elevens.....much better than put the money in my wifes hands

Yup that is a nice one, I had one just like it at one point. You can ride all day on that. The only bad thing I could say about it it that they look like an overstuffed muffin top from the rear, or even better a fat girl in spandex!

Hi Terje,
there is no delicate way to ask this; how big is your arse?
If it fits in that seat's front bucket you will be fine.
It it don't you won't.
Same for the pillion bucket but as that is for a lady we won't mention the fit-up.

OK, thanks for your answers! If my ass is to big for the seat,the doctors will have to do some surgery on my body and remove some gallons of fat from my rear end - because: I will never leave the driver seat on the bike

Corbin / corbin-gentry

Maybe a stupid question this one,but I noticed the seat I purchased is manufactured by CORBIN-GENTRY. Is CORBIN and CORBIN-GENTRY two different manufactorers,or what?

They used to be together, now it's just Corbin.
