  • Venturer 1100 fairing

    Picked up a Fairing and bags, that say Yamaha on them.
    Visually I would say they are are from a Venturer 1100.
    I don't think it was made by Vetter since I think Vetter was sold in 79.
    Any info would be helpfull.
    I need to fabricate a mounting bracket and get a set of lowers for them.
    Any pictures or info would be appreciated.
    My bike is a 79 standard.

    It's probably just the original Pacifico fairing made for the '78. That one is regarded as the best fairing for the XS ever made. There is another thread going right now called "Pacifico Fairing" that gives a bit of info on it. Here's a few pics from that thread:



    This one shows the lowers attached:



    The mounting bracket is a 2-piece deal that clamps the fairing from above and below.
