Yes I looked at the listing today. Reminds me of some conversations on the old XS11 list. It would be neat to see and learn more about the bike.

I thought for a while that it would be cool to have. (I race a turbo car) but then I came back to reality and realized that my stock 79 Special goes faster then I want to ride in my old age.

It would be great if who ever gets the bike was on the list and would report about its performance and ride-ability.

I wouldn't get too excited guys. The problems are two fold.

          1. The transmission was never designed to handle that much power. Unless you are very well disiplined, you will kill the clutch in a few full throttle runs. If you go to a nine disc kevlar clutch system, your transmission will be destroyed soon after.

          2. 0-60 times will be great, but 1/4 mile will frustrate the hell out of you. Without a 6th gear and lack revability, you will be stuck at 130 before you get anywhere near the finish.

I saw this bike for sale about a year ago. It doesn't look like it's seen much use. I like the concept, but for Gods sake! Rest assured that if I thought my ride would put up with it, I'd be laying the ground work already.
