Re part #4

Got a set of Athena gaskets it did not have part # 4.
I read some threads that lead me to belive it is no longer needed due to new style of head gasket.

I'm just tring to verify this.

I don't think you need that part anymore.Someone will chime in here before too long.I seem to remember reading that it is no longer required though.I could be wrong though.

Hey Rick,

That's right, the cam chain tunnel gasket was eliminated with the later engines and the later designed head gaskets, and can cause damage to the head IF it's attempted to install the old gasket with the newer head gasket!
