  • Exhaust fitment

    Can anyone tell me if a Kerker 4 - 1 from early 78 - 79 XS11 will fit onto a Maxium 11?

Don't know 100% but it should. I think all of the exhausts were interchangeable.

I'm pretty sure the spacing of the headers will be OK. I'm more concerned about fitment along the frame. How much different is the frame from a special of 79 - 80?

I think the only hassel is how the muffler mounts.

        BTW,
I have not tried it yet, but I plan to put a SH exhaust on a G frame
Does depend on how well the re-freb goes on the exhaust

The SH onto a Standard is a PITA!! The center stand IS in the way, and the mount are different. I know this from a PO on my first '79.....
