  • Spark Plug Wire Fell Off

Finally took the bike out on the rode this afternoon. Turning back into work, it died and I could not get it restarted. After pushing it half a mile up hill, I noticed that the park plug cable had pulled out of the cap on Cylinder number 4 (far right). I assume that this was the problem. (Right?)

Question is: how do I fix it? Will I need to buy the whole unit (#16-17 & #22-23) from BikeBandits Electrical #1 schematics? or can I purchase generic new cables and caps at the local automart and attach them to the coils?

If it was just the cap that came off, screw it back on! I would TEST them with an OHM meter to verify they are in spec. I would also cut off about 1/4" from the end of the wire to have a clean connection.
