Would one of you guru folks tell me if a 4 into 1 pipe from a 79 Special will bolt up to my 80 xs1100G? Thanks

Have a look at my 78E. The Hookers are made for the Special. You may have to modify but I see no reason why it would not fit.78 XS1100E Standard

Nice ride. Thanks, Foreda. Once I did a little search there were posts that stated pretty solidly that pipes interchange well between the XS & XJ's. Still don't know if there's serious mismatch with tanks or not yet though.A fine running motor is a tune you just can't get out of your head.
