Tighten down the locknut. Then take almost all the slack out of the cable up at the handlebar. It's possible the clutch won't release at first because of lack of oil on the friction plates. Usually starting the engine in neutral, pulling the clutch lever in, then putting the bike in gear will free it up. Do this while sitting on the bike of course. Having the screw in too far will disengage the clutch. HTH
    Thats what I did. But the good news it now is the clutch will disengage. Have to rev it to about 5k for it to. Now it works properly.
