    MrOzz,

I have not used this vendor but I did contact a vendor in southern California about my sending my old lines to them so they could be sure the ends lined up perfectly and they said "no problem".

I was worried about how many 30 year old bikes they have to work with and just wanted to be sure. Don't know if your lines are on the bike. JAT.

I would ask a question or two only because the detail is not stated and the devil is ALWAYS in the deatails.

I'd make certain they are including four lines. They say four are included, but only picture one and later in the add they talk of the brake line, as in singular.

I would also verify that they are the right length and fittings to replace the four stock lines on the bike. I would hate to see you get four lines of this one length and orientation and told, they will fit with some slack her and there or manipulation on your part.

Yeah, years of dealing with contract management has tainted me.

          Hey Oz,

That looks like a very good kit for a great price! He has almost a 1000 feedbacks, with 99+ %. You shouldn't have to send in any lines, he apparently had measured and calculated the sizes needed for the XS11, however if you have non-standard setup, like handlebar setbacks or such, then you might want to provide measurements of total length...eye to eye for each segment...he provides CUSTOM lengths! A couple of members on this site used to make them, but just quit due to hassles, prices of parts, etc.! With the increased popularity of this type of part, probably more manufacturers of the components are making parts more easily and cheaply available, hence the great price...along with the eBay sales format, very little overhead!! Looks like you don't get a choice of colors though! If I didn't already have some, I would probably get them from him.

PS, like DG said, the fellow's command of the English language and grammar is lacking a bit, so clarification of what you actually get in the KIT would be recommended!!

Ok. I sent a message to the ebay seller. Here is his response.

                  Thanks for your interest.
Yes, 3 front and 1 rear brake hoses.
It comes with single banjo bolts only and washers.
Direct replacement, proper length and angle orientation.
We accept returns, but you will have to be responsible for shipping both ways.
When order, please specify the model of your bike, is it a "SPECIAL" model ?
Let me know if you need further information

My only concern is the single banjo bolts. If I remember The front takes a special type for the 2 front brake calipers where they meet at the triple tree.

I think I am going to make the leap and buy the set. Wont be for a couple of weeks. When I get them I will let you all know.

                  Thanks for your responses

Well, just re-use the double banjo bolt and anneal the old washer to re-use it as well.

Dissimmilar metal contact will cause electrolysis or "galvanic" corrosion. However, you have to consider the actual charges of the materials involved. If they are very close in over all charge, they will not actually corrode at any noticable rate.

Also to consider is the fact that there is that little "washer" seal in there. It separates the materials from contacting each other.

One more point on the subject, our calipers and I believe the MC body I believe are aluminum. I know the magnet on my dial indicator base will not hold to the caliper.

So I would not have any fear over the aluminum in this case.
