Jardine 4 into 1 rattles

My relatively new Jardine 4 into 1's have come loose at the end. The baffle seems to be nice and tight, but the "doughnut" cap is rattling around. I suppose I need to re-rivot the damn thing. Gee, my old set of Jardines never did that!

That's the one thing I wasn't very impressed by with the Jardines. Mine became loose enough for the end of the cap to come past the edge of the pipe on the opposite side of the rivets. I put a small chrome screw in the opposite side to tighten it up. I drilled a hole the diameter of the screw in the pipe and a smaller one in the cap so that it would draw in the cap as I tightened it. It's good now, but I'll probably have to do the same thing with the rivets if/when they wear out.
