We have this little get-together every sept. here in Reno. It's called Street Vibrations. About 200,000+ bikers show up. After seeing what Bob Jones does with these things I thought that I might be able to put together something they don't see to often. I've been in and out of all the dealerships in town, and to this day, there isn't a bike in any of them that crosses an in line four torque curve with the comfort of a cruiser. I can out run Harleys all day long and still hop on it and ride to Vegas w/out getting butt-burn. I think thats just awesome! I might have bought a new bike, if I thought there was anything that versitle on a showroom floor. Vmax comes close, but it feels a little big for me.

That's a beautiful bike, the chrome wheels are especially nice. It's inspiring to see these bikes really fixed up. Well done!

No more down time this season. All in good time. The fork brace, the fender, engine scoop, and blue anodized triple clamps I'll save for the fall. Lets not forget the big bore kit, and port & polished head.

Looks like a new XS11 would look if made now. Maybe Yamaha will see your post. The wheels are great. I was just looking at mine and thinking that I need to take the tires off and beed blast and polish them but the chrome is wonderful.

Da**, that might be the prettiest XS11 I've ever seen.

I thought the one on the Clymer cover was good looking... but that... that just makes me want to spend the money to restore mine. And to hear you talk about the big bore kit and head work... I want to hear about the performance when you are finished.

I'm a young buck and still single - so it's like when you're driving by the pool on a 105 degree day, and then you see the absolutely most perfect looking blonde chick you've ever seen in your entire life. ... well, I'm sure the pic doesn't give us half the clue, but if you can't tell by my post, thanks for inspiring me to keep working on my XS.....

Ok, if you had to take a guess at it, what would you say that just the wheels set you back at the chromers?

                              That is amazing looking.

I was going to send the valve covers and other aluminum to the anodizers this winter.
