Generator Cover XRef

G'day guys,
my cross reference manual says that the generator cover (2H7-15411-00-00) on my '78E will fit on the '81H and SH but it doesn't cross it back the other way. In fact doesn't even recognise the cover (4RO-15415-00-00) for the '81H or the SH. Anyone know if the "81 cover will fit my '78E?

The difference should only be the color! The bolt pattern is the same, and all you need to worry about is if you put an XJ alt on. you would then need to change some wires, IIRC.
