  • Name that Exhaust

Anybody recognize what type of pipes these are? I can find no markings on them. Incubus came with a Kerker 4-1, but it is unbaffled. I am torn between finding baffles or using these pipes. They are in nicer cosmetic condition and still have their baffle.

I need baffles. I already can't hear SWMBO when she talks...

From what I've noticed about a XS with no baffles, loud but has less power.

That exhaust kinda looks like a Mac. This is a Mac 4-1 tail section and it does look similar. The Mac header is the only one I've seen that exits at the center of the bike. HTH

Can you take a photo of the end cap?Either Mac or Kerker but i think the Kerker mounts to the footrest different so maybe it is a Mac.

Here's the end cap. I guess it's OK if it's a MAC. Their chrome doesn't hold up well, but the sound is OK. At least on Honda 750s. These have a nice shiny black ceramic-feeling finish.

What's that, babe? Oh, sorry. I thought I heard SWMBO talking, but the satellite signal went down for a second and all I was getting was static.

            Hmmm, maybe that was SWMBO...

                I'll play!!!

That a cheep-o from JC Whit-less, the baffle looks just like the one I had on my CB750F.

After seeing that end cap with that bolt there, definitely a Mac.

Looks like a Mac to me too.

Cool, thanks Lamric. I really like the Kerker. It's got some surface rust but I think it would clean up nicely. But I've got loud pipes on my Shadow and quiet pipes (comparatively speaking) on my Honda 750s and I really prefer the quieter
ones. My bikes are vintage and unique and already attract attention.

It looks like what is on my MNS. I'm told it is an RC Engineering exhaust system. Mine had no baffle at all. I got a SuperTrapp baffle and discs to work in it
