Starting the bike cold, how do YOU do it?

    Thank you all for the info After three years of riding i still feel like a newbie eheheh. I can't remember when or where, but something i read just kept nagging at me about having to give some throttle to start my bike. I think i worry too much about the XS.

      Depends on how cold, Frigid nearly winter, she takes full choke for almost a minute then down to half no throttle. Early in the morning this time of year half choke no throttle. Now if she's warmed up already then she's picky, no choke but a little throttle is necessary.
