  • Standard and Special Front wheel - direct swap?

I have a '79 Standard and I have a '79 Special. I am rebuilding the Standard, but the front wheel on the Special parts bike looks better. They look the same, but the Yamaha parts fiche has a slightly different number for each: Standard - 2H9-25168-29-00; Special - 2H9-25168-20-00.

I don't want to drag the jack into the yard if it's a futile pursuit. They look the same to me. What's the difference?

No difference. Both are identical. The speedo hubs are different though.
