  • In seach of highway pegs

    Hey all,
Anyone know of a source to find highway pegs to fit factory crash bars on an 81sh?
I am looking for some clamp ons that are set (or offset?) forward a couple 4 inches or so.
Being a tallish guy (6-4ish) the pegs I have just dont give me enough room to stretch out.
In fact its almost comfyer (thats a word right?) to just keep my feets on the motor pegs.
I saw some (HARDLEY ABLESON) ones awhile back for like $3,000,000.
Hell maybe the price includes a vibration free garauntee. HA!
If one of you guys or gals could point me in a direction to find a set that fits my meager budget, My achin legs would appreciate it greatly.

If you'll do a search on the "NET" for "Standard Hi-way bars", you'll get plenty of sites to check out, will also find offset type ones also if you do a search for that kind of footpegs/cruise pegs!

I use the Bikemaster brand clamp-ons that clamp to the highway pegs. They have black rubber inserts.

Try setting the pegs so your ankle will rest on the rubber! you can then have your feet hang out as far as needed! I do that on the MNS from time to time...
