Well, I sold TeXSive on Saturday.
Randy Jackson came down from Austin and bought her. I know she will have lots of company as he has quite a few XS's and other bikes in his stable.
He told me that if I ever had XSive withdrawals I could come up and rider her anytime. I may take you up on that someday Randy!

Of course the TeXSive Rallys & TeXSive Lite will continue as long as you don't mind riding with me and my Valk. I will always be an XSive at heart.

    VALK?

Hi Wayne, So how do you like your new bike . I have been eyeing the valk for a while. Used to own a wing. Is the valk as strong as it looks. Might just be my next bike methinks regards Mitch

      Love my Valk!!!

I believe it is the best purchase I have made in years. It is even stronger than it looks and Smoooooth as silk. Lots more power and torque than the GoldWings. I'm a big guy (6'3" and 300+ lbs.) so I need a big bike, and brother this is a big bike.
Another big plus is the seating position. The pegs are under you and not out in front like most cruisers. I prefer the pegs under me, which is much more comfortable on long hauls IMHO.

I bought a '98 with 16K miles on it for $8800 from my local Honda dealer. He was asking $9300 but the sales-guy hinted that they wanted to move the bike and I got him down to that price. I put a memphis shade windshield and Leatherlike bags on her. I also bought a new driver seat, the Valk seats from 96 to 99 are terrible, but the 2000 and up are great so I put a 2000 seat on mine. Also bought a Utopia backrest on it which is great too.

I can highly recommend this bike if your looking for a big powerhouse cycle.
