Freaked out tach

Ok, I know it has been a long time but I finally got around to tearing the tach apart. I was puting the 140mph speedo in and I figured it would be a good time to do it.

I didn't find anthing loose, unfortunatly, so I started puting it back together and CRAP I broke the extremely brittle with age needle.

I need a tach for a 80 special CHEAP!

I'm aready in the hole big time on ebay!

I don't have one or know of anybody local right off hand... but...

You might PM fellow member Andreashweiss, and see what he might have, if nobody else chimes in.

You might also post your tach need in the "Parts Needed" section, too.

Man... sorry to hear that happened... same thing happened to me when I swapped out my 85 mph speedo with a 160 unit... lucky I had a spare... those things are really fragile!

We need to make a plan to go riding soon! Let me know...

I've emailed andreas and digitalsam both have parts for sale in the classifieds.

At least my new speedo is working good. I don't think I'll need more than 140.

Nope... 140 should do the trick!

But you could get close to pegging...if it is a perfect day, on a long stretch of great road, and the birds are singing...and the sun is shining...

125's the most I've had the cohoney's to get too so far...

I've heard that can be unwise with a Vetter 4 like mine's got...
