I have a stock system, but if you lean hard enough to where you fold up the scraping footpegs where it's smashing your foot against the case... .I can still scrape it sometimes on the heat shield bolts. BUT.. I don't have heat shields on right now.. so I can lean a bit further, right?

Will the MAC 4 into 2 accept other silencers, or are the mufflers welded on?

There is no center stand so no problems there!
Where would one get a set of pipes like that. Does Supertrap still make a set for the 11 or is that a set for another bike that happens to fit?

Supertrapp no longer makes a pipe for the XS11. The only ones available are the MAC, described above and the Marshall Deeptones. I have not heard good things about the Marshalls though. http://www.laser-exhausts.com/cgi-bi...=218356.300508
79 XS1100 SF - name TBD - possibly "Divorce Maker" Kerker 4 into 1, K&N filter in stock air box

Well, I thought I would make a poll to see how many of us out there are useing aftermarket pipes. What Im woundering is, are the Jardine 4-1's the only pipes that scrape? For me it seems to restrict my turning ability by ~30% on the right. My suspension does need to be tightened up in the front+back but it wont eliminate the scraping completely. I dont want to lose the use of the centerstand and at the same time Im holding out on having my pipes ceramic coated in fear it will wreck the coating. Im considering having my welder buddy try and fab a new section of pipe that hugs the frame tighter under my RT peg.... Any thoughts?
I am running OEM pipes and as to do they scrape? Yes, just before they take me to the hospital cause if you can scrape these, you done something real wrong

                          i'm running muff's off a roadking/electraglide.

yeah they grind but it doesn't upset in the corners so i don't care.

                          it's just harley junk anyway.

they are hooked to the factory headers.

I've ground part of my sidestand down - that little ball that is on the end - on the left. The right I used to hit the highway peg, but I took it off and haven't managed to scrape anything else over there yet.

I don't think I've never gotten the muffler on the ground (Stock '81) unless the whole bike was taking a nap.
I've been in more than one Hemisphere, and I wrote a book to help you do it too (or just prepare better for that week long road trip). Going Small, not just for the little guys.
