    just got my rear battle axe!!! it looks a little narrower than the old spitfire though. but god it's really sticky. i haven't ridden with it yet but when i carried it from the shop you could feel how soft the outer compound was. plus they seem to have alot more tread. the spitfires weren't as deep as the battle axe. i have to remember to write my miles down since i forgot last time i think i got around 8000 miles out of the rear. the front still looks ok though.

    Trbig has run some battleaxes in the past... you might ask his opinion...

    Seem to remember him saying they were sticky, but didn't last long.

    But, then... most of us have ridden with Tod, too... your results may vary...LOL
