        JCW Mufflers: Look and listen

        Pics were great, Thanks!

I sorta did the same install on my special but used the shorter JCW mufflers.

        Here's how they sound:

I guess they sound ok but I always wondered how the longer ones would have been like.

              Hey Larry,

Enjoy all 5 mins of your video. How many cams on your bike to get all the angles? Oh, the muffles sound good too.

                Just Smoke and Mirrors

I Cheated. There, I said it! With my Budget I couldn't play fair...

One camera and only one camera was used. I just pointed it in a different direction each time I made the run from start to finish then I edited the pieces together.

Run with the cam pointed FWD. Turn around and go back to the start.
Run with the cam pointed to the right. Turn around...
Run with the cam pointed backwards. Then back to the beginning.
Set up the tripod. Drive past. Pick up tripod. Next location.

                Etc.

It get's worse: The audio is "doctored up" as well!

The camera microphone picked up so much wind noise that even I couldn't watch this video with the sound on.

SOooo. I went out for another run on a different road with a separate audio recorder behind my backrest. (out of the wind's turbulence.) This came out much better but with a cost!

The video is from a run where I, ahem..."observed and complied" with the posted speed limits: 25 mph throughout the entire road past the first hill. But the audio is from a run where I could do 60 mph.

So while it sounds like I'm really tearing it up, I'm really just driving like I've got someones Mother on the back of my bike!

Nice sounding Ferrari...I'd like to have seen it do some drifts around a track though...
