  • Air Forks -

Rather than rebuild my 79 standard's front forks (oil leak), I decided to replace with a pair of later model air forks. I thought that the extra adjustability in ride would be nice + they were shiny and pristine - almost.
After installing them, I started to "air" them up, only to discover that the air inlet on the right fork was damaged.... the threaded portion / nipple broke off in my hand, about halfway down. Of course, this prevents me from being able to add air, since a seal can not be established between the air nipple and the air hose... Does anyone know where I can find a replacement part for this? I need the entire fork top w/45 deg air inlet..... Thanks -

    Hi Bobby,
first thing to try is go to the "parts for sale" section on this list.
