HElp. Tach, Neutral light, fuel light, HB indicator In-op after handle bar swap

    1979 XS 1100 Special:

Hi XS11 So resently I decide to trow a spare set of Pro Taper bars on my XS i had sitting around my shop, After installing them, I found that the right side of my gauge cluster isnt working at all. tach lights up but wont work. HB indicator, fuel light, neutal light etc dont work. they worked fine previously and need some assitance. I found the directional fuse had blown but im not sure if it is a related problem. Anyone have any ideas, Im assuming it isnt the alternator because the headlight still works and it isnt the tach itself thats malfuntioning. someone help please.

Check your grounds in the headlight bucket.

      My 2 cents

My high beam indicator stopped working and I found that the conection under the seat came loss. I realize that you replace the bar but maybe it could have gotten tugged on and is loose.

all of that stuff plugs in under instrument panel in the dreaded (blivet) pouch of wires.
