  • GURU's I NEED HELP!!!

    Ok so I dont have time to search about carb stuff but Im having a problem.
    My #1 carb is spitting back air and sometimes gas. WHATS THE DEAL!?

    valves are shimmed and carbs are rebuilt and also have new coils on it.

    Check compression on that cylinder. It's easy to not get one shimmed right that hasn't run.. .either that, or you have a bent/hanging valve. For some reason, your compression stroke is getting past the intake valve.

      You have a broken exhaust system? Maybe a broken weld under the heat guard by one of the foot pegs?

            ok so now it runs but if i try to poen her up it bogs under choke and "non" choke. WHATS UP???

              Hey Kirmit,

              Are you able to get it to finally accept the throttle and the rpms will rise, or will it just not get over a certain rpm??

              Those 150 mains sound a bit rich for your setup? What are the settings for your pilot SCREWS...how many turns out? ALso, where is the vac. slide needle set....middle notch or what? And what are your float settings....stock 25.7mm or higher/lower?

              Also, have you checked your ignition timing with a light?
