Advice when stripping down a bike:

TAKE PICTURES!!!

I took my bike down to the frame and took many pictures along the way.

when routing the wires the pictures I took were invaluable.

zip loc bags and a sharpe pen are invaluble for keeping track of screws, bolts ,and such
